On the latest trending news, Rumors have it that Dominic Cummings was kicked out of Number 10 for good after having a dramatic confrontation with Boris Johnson, who showed him texts allegedly proving he briefed against his fiancée, Carrie Symonds. In a tense 45-minute meeting, the prime minister has ordered his most senior adviser to leave, having shown incriminating text messages that had been forwarded to his partner.No10 denied the explosive claims. Mr. Cummings’ departure follows that of Lee Cain, who announced his resignation as Mr. Johnson’s director of communications on Wednesday after Ms. Symonds opposes his promotion to chief of staff. The PM ordered the two to go with immediate effect in a bid to end the toxic rows at No10 after a week of turmoil. It is believed that both Mr. Cummings and Mr. Cain will be on gardening leave until mid-December. However, Mr. Cummings may continue to work from home to tie up loose ends, but neither is expected back at No 10. A Downing Street source said Mr. Johnson ‘wanted to clear the air so the Government can move forward’ amid fears the Brexiteer duo would ‘poison the well’ if they were allowed to stay until the New Year. The source added that Sir Edward Lister, a long-serving adviser to Mr. Johnson, would be promoted to chief of staff ‘for an interim period pending a permanent appointment to the post. It is also believed that Former chancellor Sajid Javid was last night being touted to fill the highly-coveted role which will see him back in the upper echelons of Government after resigning in February.
